Nocturnus may be one though they're a lot more known, this is one of my favorite Death Metal scenes around, possibly my favorite.

Yeah, Nocturnus...The Key is kickass progressive death metal.

Check out Brutality, too...no one ever cares about them, but they were one of the first Florida tech death bands.
