need LOTS of new music

So, I've been wanting a bunch more music.. Made a list of stuff I plan to download..
If you have any more ideas..
I've mainly listened to a lot of mainstream "metal" - but the non-mainstream stuff is SO much better..
Not really sure what sub-genres I prefer.. I like the majority of it..

One thing I can't stand.. is a band that has a lead singer that sounds like a 4 year old girl whining
No high pitch whining for vocals please.

In before ohiogrinder names some grindcore band

In before Alter recommends Interpol, Sunn O))) and Boris/Alter

I wont add any recommendations (maybe you'll make a thread some time saying which of those you'd like more similar stuff of...)

I'll just say which ones I think are worth prioritizing (from my biased anti-brutal death metal POV)

melodic death
Amon Amarth
Dark Tranquility
Eternal Tears of Sorrow
Amorphis
Hypocrisy
Insomnium

folk/viking
Haggard
SuidAkrA

black
Ajattara

melodic black
Kalmah

doom
Saturnus

thrash
Kreator

grind?
Carcass

death
Vader

I'm wondering where he compiled this list from...it's very ecclectic for someone yet to develop an ear for anything more than 'screamo' vs 'everything else'

BIG LIST OF GOOD BANDS
A new poster that isn't a moron? GASP!

Seriously, some of these really suprised me for someone claiming to be new to metal.

I was scanning through, And I do believe I will take credit for "Gospel of the Horns".

I was surprised to see stuff like disaster and The Krushers. Methinks he's been compiling his list from our immense collections.

Yeah, the majority of it I found in the past, and have been compiling this list for about a month now, I ran across this forum yesterday, and added a few more, so some of the more out-there stuff very well may have come from stuff I read about on here, listened to a little, and then added to the list.

Some of it is just listed there because I need to download more recent albums, as this started out as my list of music that I still need to download.

I've got a good bit of music though, about 91gb.. A fairly large majority accounts for basically anything mainstream.. then the rest of it is metal, some of it random songs from what I listed earlier.. but I need to download all the full albums..

On pirating.. I'd love to legally buy all my music, but I just couldn't afford it, with near 25k songs.. That'd be $25 grand in music.

Spite Extreme Wing
Primordial
Blut Aus Nord
Direwolf
Ne Obliviscaris
Negura Bunget
Nidingr
Thyestean Feast

They're all black metal (to varying extents I guess) bands which I find to have fairly unique sounds.
