Acheron
Aeon (Swedish. Only check out if you don't mind hilariously over the top satanic lyrics)
Satryicon (The new 'Black n' roll' stuff is pretty entertaining)
Septicflesh/Septic Flesh - Symphonic Death Metal kinda
Insomnium - Ace melodic death metal
Turisas - On the Ensiferum track. Not really too similar but they're ace so I figured I should

Old Man's Child I know of and enjoy in doses. I checked out Ikuinen Kaamos on myspace a while back and if I remember correctly I liked it alot but I can't find it online or in a record store.. Ill have to continue my search.

I'm 100% sure that you're going to like Insomnium I was into death and melo/death metal just like you(haven't changed much thu), now I'm more into thrash and black metal.
