essential brutal death metal
I'm planning on buying at least two discs next paycheck and want some top-shelf stuff. I already own two Deeds albums, a Decrepit Birth record, a Brodequin record and a Malignancy record. need more!

I was going to make this thread myself. Not to hijack, but I'd like some good non-tech death / non slam brutal death metal myself. (I know slam and tech death bores the fuck outta me)

Most will disagree, but to me Goratory - Orgasm Induced Diarrhea is excellent. The drumming in particular is more creative than most.
Also, MA has 'em as brutal death so I'll say it. Severe Torture - Sworn Vengeance. It's excellent stuff.
Also, Drawn and Quartered - Extermination Revelry is pretty sweet. Vocalist is particularly good. Badass solos as well.
I don't think you could call this essential or anything, though.

Yeah, D&Q - Extermination Revelry is BADASS! I love "Worshippers of Total Death" with that super hypnotic repeating riff section.

Fleshgod Apocalypse - Oracles
IBefore V5 says "Hour of Penance is better". I don't like them as much as FGA.

Hour of Penance has put out three very good/great albums in a row, FGA hasn't quite done that yet.

Which Malignancy album do you own, Justin? I'm not huge on the brutal death metal genre but for some reason I really dig these guys.
