Absolutely Essential Grind
I've recently decided to get into grind music. ATM I'm really digging Bile, County Medical Examiners and Torsofuck. What else would you wise people recommend?

The bands you mentioned are goregrind, minus maybe torsofuck... so here's some quality goregrind bands.
Hymen Holocaust (and Cliteater, but HH is the better, imo)
Haemorrhage
Jig-Ai
Satan's Revenge on Mankind
Pulmonary Fibrosis
The Day Everything Became Nothing
Dead Infection

Yattering is death metal.
I second the Carcass and Dead Infection recs. also check out the Swiss grind band Fear Of God.....so much better than the poser thrash band of the same name.

It actually perfectly fits in with Bile and TCME, so I'm guessing you picked a winner.

You cannot deny the intense grind influence on Necroticism, Justin. However, I agree that it's essentially a death metal album.

Alcest - that album with the cover of the little girl playing with a flute. Don't bother asking me the name it's quite long. Just gooogle it it's a every popular record.
Drudkh - Autumn Aurora (essential forest metal)
Agalloch - Pale Folklore, The Mantle, Of stone wind and pillor, the white ep.
The Morningside - the wind, the trees, and the shadows of the past
opeth - the morningside
Elvenking's debut
Ulver's debut
and maybe some empyrium

Not exactly grind but essential nonetheless. In fact, I'm suspicious of any grindcore fan that doesn't fully appreciate these two albums. They rule!
