Obscure death metal from the early 90s...
Well it doesnt have to be THAT obscure... but I just dont want the same old stuff you guys always recommend.
I'm looking for stuff like...
Cianide's early material... Excruciating Pain... Necrosanct... Timeghoul... Shub Niggurath... Krabathor.. Abominant... Disastrous Murmur
Just mildly obscure old school death metal... not the well known stuff that circulates through every death metal thread.

You might like this thread.
Also, my favorite is Vomiturition - A Leftover, try it if you don't know it already.

You should check out anything you can from Mortem from Peru.
This band although around since 86 was releasing some of the best 1990's Death Metal to ever exist.
http://www.myspace.com/thetruemortem.
Demon Tales, Devil Speaks in Tongues, Decomposed by Possession, and De Natura Daemonium are all supreme fucking Death Metal albums not to be missed.

couple of obscure bands
Well, not sure if anyone has mentioned these:
Viogression - Expound and Exhort
Rottrevore - Iniquitous
Aferlife - Surreality
Sepsism - Purulent Decomposition (took them awhile to get a full length out, but they started in 1990 and had 3 awesome demos!)
Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence, Darkside (maybe not TOTALLY obscure, but extremely under-rated)
ALSO - maybe someone can help me on this, there was a band from Buffalo, NY back in the day who self released their CD, it was limited to 1000 copies and they broke up soon afterwards. For the life of me, I cannot remember their name but I think they may have had the same name as another band, which might have been why they ultimately broke up...
