Aw, Waterhells, I was sad when Korova became Korovakill.
I was too busy last night to get these but I am grateful for all these recommendations and will eventually come back and express my gratitude.
I'm glad I don't have to explain the concept of "oceanic metal," it is a pain trying to convey the idea to people who don't get it.

Think so? I strongly disagree...
But news about a new VLE excites me!

It's less "haha" and more "siiiiigggghhhh" when it happens.
I will try and check some of these out tonight if I have a chance. I'm getting most excited about the VLE. Definitely had never heard of them before!

The name got tossed around a bunch on the old Opeth forum back in ancient times.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all these suggestions. Especially Ahab and On Thorns I Lay and VLE. But I really appreciate all the help. Expanding my mental universe, yes!

Yeah, he is not an act you would usually stumble upon. He sent me his first album, back when it was released because I was writing reviews for a website. I really liked it, so I bought his second CD from him when he released it.
