Fast, agressive power metal like old Blind Guardian or Demons and Wizards
I have been into black metal and death metal for years, but recently I have picked up an interest in power metal. It's also a lot easier on my coworkers' ears, so I'm trying to get a few bands together to play at work. This does not mean I want it to be any less heavy. I really like older Blind Guardian (up to and including Nightfall in Middle-Earth) and Demons and Wizards (especially the self titled).
I am looking for stuff like that; very leady, very fast. I have checked out a lot of bands but most of them are too cheasy, have weak "operaesque" vocals, or are too focused on being epic to write good metal. I'm hoping what I'm looking for isn't exclusive to Blind Guardian and Demons & Wizards, so if anyone knows of any other bands please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks, not too bad judging by that song, I'll check them out better later. The vocals aren't bad but still a bit pretty compared to what I'm going for, but the music sounds pretty good. Not nearly as cheesy as most European power metal.

Their first two records are more aggressive. After that, they go in a softer direction.

I assume you know of Iced Earth?
You could also have a look at Rebellion.

Riot and Angel Dust are great, thanks! I'm starting to think I'm not looking for power metal, but instead speed metal with power metal aspects.
I haven't had a chance to check out Persuader or Savage Circus yet.
