ANY IDEA WHEN WE CAN KNOW WHEN TICKET SALES START AND VENUE ECT?

I don't represent the organizers of BARfest - I only speak for myself.

I too am eager to learn more about BARfest 2008. Thankfully, so far, we have dates, and a few names, and a lot of excitement from fans and probable attendees.

I can assure you that we'll be told the details in due time, when it is (mostly) settled and certain obligations are met.

I don't even know or understand what items are still outstanding or where the dominoes are.

But I do know that I have utmost confidence that the organizers are working feverishly and/or diligently to get all the ducks lined up for us.

The fact that we don't have more information isn't due to laziness or lack of commitment or ability to communicate.

I can only imagine the effort of herding all the cats and tending to all the details necessary to put this show on the road to the Bat Area.

I'm sure the enthusiasm we express and the hunger for details we have are appreciated by the organizers. Let's all give the guys some breathing room. Let's let them know we're tuned in with our credit cards in hand, ready to act when it's time to do so.

LOL, Bat Area.

I am tuned in and ready to go. I just keep fearing that I'll miss the announcement and lose out. Most of the other shows are selling out fast. Real fast.

WELL IF THEY NEED HELP HERDING CATS, I'M PRETTY GOOD AT IT.....

I TOO AM PAITIENTLY WAITING...AND WILL CHECK IN DAILY SO HOPEFULLY I WONT MISS OUT........CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WAS LAST YEAR SO I COULD HAVE A BALL PARK IDEA $................THANKS

I just checked flights and they are already up to the 300 range from Kansas City, so I may not be to make it due to finances.

Well here is an official demand....."bring Cea Serin to the Bay!!!"

And i can definitely see where you're coming from man, i sure as hell wouldn't book a cross country flight without even knowing where the event was happening.....lucky for me i'm just a little over a two hour drive away so i don't have that issue.

I hope we get that official announcement soon though. I'm freaking dying to know who else will be playing the festival this year.
