there was a fan made MMO in the works, and it was looking fucking good, but then nintendo pulled the plug on it for legal reasons, but of course nintendo is intent on running the franchise into the ground by remaking the same game over and over again with progressively shittier pokemon

Yeah pathetic. I was a huge fan of the red and blue versions, but all those newer versions busted my balls and I never kept playing it. An MMO would be totally awesome though, I would definitely look into that if it was made

Here's another opinion that may or may not be controversial.

Very few people know how to TRULY improvise, or feel comfortable improvising. I don't mean improvising over a set chord progression so everything's neatly packaged for you to shred your guts out over, I mean start with nothing and make your own musical universe from scratch.
