Random Observation thread
If you want to discuss things that are weird, interesting, whatever... this is the place to do it. Whether it be Raf Nadal's left arm or Elliot's signature, it belongs here, not on the main board in its own thread.
I'll get the ball rolling: The small plastic or metal sheath on the end of shoelaces, which both keeps the twine from unraveling and also makes it easier to hold the lace and feed it through the eyelets, is called an aglet (or aiglet). ![]() |

On rainy days, when my socks are wet, I come home and stick my feet in front of the heater to dry them out.
On cold days, I stick my unsocked-feet in front of the heater to stay warm, but after a long time my feet sweat, and then therefore are the opposite of dry. I find that weird. I have no name for this strange phenomenon.

I contemplated doing law - then decided I didn't want the moral responsibility of being a lawyer who might one day have to defend a barstard.
So I went the way of the environmental scientist and now I get to play with my shovels and dirt all day. ![]()

Haha man there's so much cash in it! I have a friend who says that there are five jobs for every graduate. Although that might be agricultural science. I forget! And she's FAR from left :P

Random observation: if Steve were a mod he would probably ban everyone on here. He is mad with power and must be stopped at all costs.

Steve got my hopes up when he posted in the "new rules" thread about stopping Croydon talk. I vote he becomes a mod!

As much as I love that video, I hate seeing a thread degenerate and be hi-jacked by the VicRoads Croydon thing. So I'm somewhat on the same page as Steve - I probably wouldn't ban people but I'd ask that they stay on topic.
