A bit of reflection before posting goes a long way.

Even though I unconditionally agree with Whitechapel's shitness, hypocritical much, mate?

Good releases this year so far, in addition to previously mentioned stuff:

Absu - "absu"
Katharsis/Antaeus - split
Katharsis - "fourth reich"
Xasthur - "all reflections drained"
Urfaust/Joyless - split
Funeral Mist - "maranatha"

Also I'm looking forward to the new Morbid Angel/Slayer releases.

Drudkh's new album Microcosmos is right around the corner my dear buddies, guys and mates.

Yesterday I took too many pints at lunch and pre-ordered the limited edition, wooden boxed set with a t-shirt, a CD-version of Anti-Urban EP and a bunch of other shit, that will be collecting dust at my shelves. It cost fucking 68 euros, so hopefully it's worth the price.

Here's the link for placing an order, if somebody else would like to do it as well.

Yeah, I'm having regrets already, but it had to be done. My inner collector would've haunted me for the rest of my life, if I hadn't grabbed it.

Let's just hope that Immortal takes it easy with limited editions of their new album this autumn.

Ukrainian folk metallers DRUDKH, whose upcoming album "Microcosmos" will hit the stores in two weeks, have entrusted Season of Mist with re-releasing the band's whole back catalogue! The reissues will come out as remastered CD's with new artwork, sold separately and in a collector's box. Vinyl LP versions will be available too.

More details to be revealed later.

You can still pre-order "Microcosmos" box set, strictly limited to 500 copies worldwide, and exclusively available through Season of Mist's e-shop!

Here is the content of this exclusive solid wood box (30 x 26 x 4 cm) in premium dark finish with raised sliding cover and cut-out DRUDKH logo on top:

* Digipak version of the upcoming "Microcosmos" album
* CD reissue of the long sold-out "Anti-Urban" 10"EP originally limited to 999 copies
* Limited "Microcosmos" t-shirt
* Special DVD format additional booklet
This should make the acquiring of Drudkh-albums a lot more easier for you Aussies.

Got it last week. The packaging is impressive, the t-shirt fits perfectly to my manly, muscular upper body and the album is amazing. So, I'd say it was a good deal.

But seriously, the album is great.

Mastodon was awesome.
Porcupine Tree will blow your tits off.]
Still yet to give Octahedron a good listen, but enjoying what I can recall from it.
OH, and Dream Theater. Pretty solid release. However, some cheese. I'm looking at YOU, best of times. Petrucci brings the chops in the first few minutes though. Could give up guitar pretty easily after hearing that.

It's a long process hey man!
Gotta do it for the love of it, because the kudos you'll hopefully get won't make up for the cost and effort :P

^ Post-album depression. Worse than post-natal, because you can't pull a Medea on the album
