I guess this is the best place to say that I'm absolutely stoked by the album, I've admittedly only had one listen (yes, sad) but its unbelievable, its amazing listening to it and thinking back to the teeny tiny arthouse shows (: you guys have come a looooong way, looking forward to what's next

How was the Brisbane gig last night?

We are back.

Gig went ok, we all played pretty well despite some annoying technical difficulties (namely kicks and guitar) but the turnout was at our expectations (around 100-150 payers).

The hostel was shitty with this fat, arrogant, rude fuck manning the front desk giving every single female that came up some pet name like 'sweetie' or 'sugertits'. Was pretty close to jumping the counter and punching his fucking lights out Russel Crowe style because he was so fucking rude.

Then there was the taxi company.... rude bitch on the phone (Jim can 'confirm' this :P) and also the bar serving breakfast who ran out of ingredients for 'bacon and eggs' and took 45mins to serve milk, toast and museli.

All in all, gig went well, few people probably had a better time than me (catching some rare 24hour duration super cold) but overall it was ok.
