Be'lakor - Europe tour 2010! \m/ (Incl. Summer Breeze Fest)
Be’lakor – European Tour 2010
Having released two critically acclaimed albums in The Frail Tide (2007) and Stone’s Reach (2009), Australia’s BE’LAKOR is, at long last, making their way to Europe. The band has announced five dates in late August, kicking off with a performance at the Summer Breeze Festival in Germany and taking in dates in Portugal and England. With a host of awards for their most recent album, including winning the ‘Melodeth/Gothenburg album of the Year’ at Europe’s biggest metal webzine MetalStorm, BE’LAKOR will be bringing their brand of progressive, melodic death metal to European fans for the first time. The band comments: “We are very excited to be playing these dates in Germany, Portugal and England. It’s been a long time coming, and after some recent setbacks with the cancellation of dates, we have relied on our fans in Europe to help us in finding these shows. We owe a great gratitude to everyone who e-mailed us suggesting venues and contacts. Whilst we obviously couldn’t make it to every country in the short space of time that we have on this tour, we hope that some of the fans in other countries who have been waiting to see us will also be able to make it to one of these shows.” DATES: 21.08.10 – Germany, Dinkelsbühl – Summer Breeze Festival ( http://www.summer-breeze.de/ ) 22.08.10 – Portugal, Porto – MetalPoint Club ( http://www.myspace.com/metalpointcoffee ) 27.08.10 – Portugal, Lisbon (Benavente) – Side B Lounge Live Club ( http://www.myspace.com/sidebbar ) w/ Painted Black 29.08.10 – England, London – The Bull and Gate Supported by Death By Ki and Cry Havoc. ( Pre-purchase your tix at: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?reg...e=clubfandango ) 30.08.10 (Bank Holiday) – England, Exeter The Cavern: 83-84 Queen St, Exeter. Awesome! The only even slightest of chance to see the guys in Finland would be Jalometalli, but it's a bit far fetched unless they'll have a date in Sweden :P

This is soooo FRIGGIN' unfair!
The only summer I actually leave Europe - you guys are coming! This summer is really making me mad, with all my favourite bands actually playing somewhat near Poland and me going to the States... Anyways - I'm very very happy for you guys and for all the lucky bastards that will see you here! I'm sure your European fan-base will grow to immense sizes after those gigs you'll play ![]() I'd personally recommend Warsaw if you can play alongside some other metal bands during a festival or sth - we have a pretty neat metal audience here. I think that joining some festival in the Netherlands would be a good move too - they seem to have a pretty good metal scene for a country this size ![]() Good luck and enjoy the Old Continent!

Haha nice "translations" you got there.
I will try to summarize the Thread for you ![]() There are roughly three types of answers represented: (examples for every type) 1.) Hmm, didn't know them yet. But they sound promising/good/fucking good ^^ 2.) Woohoo! Thank you! Really good Band! Very happy to get to see them live. 3.) Wahh are you guys trying to make me starve on the festival this year?! This is the 15th/20th/30th band I HAVE to see. When should I eat something? ![]() And in between some other stuff, but no bad opinions at all! One is saying something like "meh, pretty ok but not that good" but that's the only slightly negative reply. Another one is praising your cover artwork for Stone's Reach. Seems like you already impressed some more people, nice to see that ![]() Yep, that's about it. All positive, nothing to camplain about ![]() Furthermore I requested that you should be playing on a stage and not in the tent...but that's not in my hands ^^. |

Any news on your other european dates yet? With which other bands are you going to play? How many dates? Where? When? *want more info*
I gave you info so you give me info ![]() Just kidding . Just would like to know if you can roughly tell when the other dates will be announced. |

Thanks for the summary of the thread - very helpful.
We are working with Kolony Records on the other dates - but as you can imagine, it's a huge logistical undertaking. It will be at least 3 weeks before we can announce the rest of the dates. But rest assured that we are working really hard to get to as many countries as possible. Obviously in 2 weeks though, we won't be able to play everywhere! |
