Becks (Germany)
Belhaven (Scotland)
Grolsch (Holland)
Chamay (Belgium)

Disgusting "Beer" that should be avoided:

Anything Brewed in the U.S. or Mexico!
Budweiser
Miller
Coors
Corona
Dos Equis
etc....
(These are all just Beer-flavoured WATER & make you sick)

Since I'm from the area where "Altbier" has its origins I like that beer most of course.
One of my favourites is "Frankenheim Alt" but I don't think someone outside Germany will know that.

Absolutely agree with Marlies on avoiding Weizen

(hehe....and Marlies....I still remember your disgusted look when you tasted that stuff in Wacken

Great are most Pils (certainly Beck´s), Altbier and Kilkenny
Horrible is anything you get in the USA, because it is always chilled - even the glasses are frozen ... well, I guess if you´re not able to brew tasty beer you need kill the aroma by chilling ... :-))

I have to say that now, last night I was at a friend's watching hockey fight videos, and we watched the battle of Detroit vs Colorado some years ago for about 3 times, and McCarty beat up Claude Lemieux so fuckin' badly, it was nice to see

Yeah, I remember that too. Claude Lemieux is considered by many to be one of the most annoying players in the league, isn't he? And he's an old fart anyway.

To be serious, I do know that McCarty is a good player, and not only with his fists. But if it's fighters you want, there's a certain Georges Laraque...

Watch out for Dallas Stars this year though.
