I think Hobgoblin is pretty generic.
For some good Swedish beer try:
Landsort Lager
Bedarö Bitter
Postiljon
Hell
Nils Oscar India Ale
Nils Oscar God Lager.
Not sure how easy they are to get outside of Sweden though.

I generally prefer anything Sam Adams. I'm American, so alot of those other brands I've never even heard of!

Ale, because actual flavor rather than lager whitch is so bland, all lagers are the same in taste anyway its only the alcohol content that actually differes
