Having listened to it, I agree. But there is a lot of awesome on that CD for $4. In terms of the King Diamond tracks, Eye of the Witch is really good and atmospheric, IMO.

Some discs I've picked up the past few weeks:

Morrigon - Celts: Meh. These guys are pretty hyped on the Heathen board so I tracked a disc down and purchased. It's OK, but I don't think it's worthy of all the praise thrown it's way.
Firewind - The Premonition: Wow! This CD rips! Easily one of the CD's getting the most play by me.
Death Angel - Killing Season: Great stuff. I like this a little better than The Ary of Dying.
Circle II Circle - Watching in Silence: Why I never got into these guys befoer, I'll never know. I've seen them live a couple times and they did absolutely nothing for me, but this CD is really good.
Korpiklaani - Korvent Kuningas: It's Korpiklaani which means quality! Good disc.
Moonlyght - Shining: I liked their first disc more.
Folkearth - Father of Victory: This is my second Folkearth disc - and probalby the last. They just don't click with me for some reason. I don't know if it's the different vocal styles being layered on top of one another that sound out of time or what, but I'm just not a fan.
The Sword - Gods of the Earth: Pretty good doomyish metal. Not bad for a $8 pick up at Best Buy.
Forefather - The Fighthing Man: Awesome!
Rage - Carved in Stone: It's Rage so that means high quality metal.
Pharoah - Be Gone: Another good CD from this band. It's starting to be my favorite of the 3.
Heidevolk - Walhalla Wacht: I've never heard this band before but have heard them talked up quite a bit - they don't disappoint. Really good catchy folk metal.
Warrel Dane - Praises to the War Machine: Holy crap this CD is awesome! I wasn't sure what to expect, thought maybe it would sound like Nevermore - but it doesn't. I don't think it's as complicated or intricate as Nevermore.
Dawnbringer - Unbleed: Blind buy - good melodic/prog deathish metal.
Zimmers Hole - When You Were Shouting at the Devil... We Were in League With Satan: I picked this up from Century Media for $10 just to check it out - I'm really glad I did. This has bunch of different styles like thrash, black, and death metal with a little NWOBHM thrown in for good measure. They don't take themselves too seriously (just check out the CD title and tracks like Hair Doesn't Grow on Steel and The Vowel Song) and Nathan Explosion makes an appearance reading (very poorly) a public service message about the benefits of reading (so you can get turned on by reading porn mags). Really good stuff.

I went back to pick up King Diamond - The Eye, and they didn't have it anymore... But they had Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath instead for $8! So I picked it up and am currently rocking out to it.

It's the 1997 remastered version with the Death Kiss (Demo) track on it, too.

How is this?

Do you buy your CDs online or do you shop at a local store?

I tend to avoid online shopping. The other day I picked up the new Cavalera Conspiracy disc at Best Buy. Had a little trouble finding it there and almost walked out in disgust, but there it was - the only copy there - stashed away in the unmarked miscellaneous "C" section. I'm wondering if I go into BB for the Dane disc if I'll find it under "W" or "D" or somewhere else, if at all. I'm sure Mark probably has it at Metal Haven but I don't want go down there for one disc. Maybe this would be a good time to see if I can finally find the front door to Impulse. Hopefully they have it there, too.

Mr Q?
