According to Inferno #48 (Finnish music magazine) after album is out they'll tour in Australia, Japan, US and Europe, in that order, and after that they will go where they are wanted most.

Ich. As much as I idolize Alexi as a guitarist, his custom ESP's look like a huge, huge ripoff. There's no way in hell I'd ever pay $1000 for a guitar with zero versatility. They look sharp as hell, but his Jackson was downright sexy and had the best tone I've ever heard.

It's called being flexible and strong. It was made that way cause it's possible. Oh, it has AMAZING tone all-around. None of that cheap-ass nu metal clank when distorted. Standards, Studios and Classics have the strict clean and blues tone restrictions. Customs are a completely different story. The mahogany provides for increasingly better quality sound as it ages, also.

Les Pauls have amazing sustain. I know what you mean LR about a guitar feeling tacky. Les Pauls aren't shred type guitars but I dig the sound. As far as Alexi's esp, it is not very versitile and it is an alder body if I am correct (mahogany in my opinion is the best).

Bah. I like the yellow or the wildchild one the most. I wouldn't mind alexi playing it, but I wouldn't buy. Now look at the most pretty v guitar ever:
![]() ![]() http://www.kyowashokai.co.jp/caparis.../e07orbit.html 27 Frets, Caparison Pick-ups, BUT pretty fucking expensive. xD Maybe it's just because I'm a Caparison fanboy. I loved 'em ever since I heard about horus, and this is an "upgrade" of it with a very nice body. Orbit m0daf00g4s. ![]() |

- Too many frets!... - Caparison what? I didn't even knew this brand existed... - ... therefore, the pickups probably suck. - I hate the head of the guitar. - I don't like the shape of the guitar either... Well, but it's u're opinion... I have to live with it (But it's strange...). |

If you stand with it in your hands it's pretty xD the 27 frets are there nothing wrong with, they sound good. The pick-ups are made by them, and they ROCK! Try and listen to Symphony X (newer), Evergrey (never), Mattias "IA" Eklundh's soloalbums and alot more. Especially Mattias' works, they rock there.
Glad someone else than me knows caparison. ^_^ I always wanted a Caparison, and I've always like the King V and such - this might do it for me - or I'll buy a Horus. I just need the money first xD Anyways until I get the money wich I'll probably first do when I get older I might buy some Alexi like V type and shift the pick-up out with my Seymour SH5. It rocks.
