got a question about rigging gear.

assume i had a GP1000 or buy one..anyway
how would I rig it?
like preamp - amp - cabinet

this seems normal way to me going spelling-wise

or does the preamp just replace the normal amp, making its preamp - cabinet

little more info on this pls?

You can not plug a preamp into just a cab unless the preamp has a built in power amp section(like the engl e530)

preamp--->>poweramp--->>cab........about a simple as it can be.

Reason for a power amp is to amplify the signal from the preamp as is it small and must be made bigger so the cab can make sense of it. This is the most simplified explanation I could think of.

A combo-amp is a preamp+poweramp wired to a speaker. All of this is housed in one unit, hence the name combo.

Amp heads are preamps+poweramps. They are as you might have guessed, in the same housing and needs to be connected to a separately housed cab.

As srob said, if you want a GP-1000 to work you have to get a poweramp as well as a cabinet. Connecting a GP-1000 to an amp and then to a cab would just create a big mess (don't even think it's safe).

Think of the poweramp as a really big and expensive volume knob.

check the sites and see who handles booking.
Since both bands have the same booking agency for the US it was easier than for Europe where they have different companies handle things.

If you don't get the answer try to understand them- how many e-mails per day do you think that they actually receive? A lot is not enough.
To be honest, I don't think that you'll receive any answer but IDK, let's hope for the best
Let us know if you received anything from them

Yeah... I bet there's "a few" that wants to make contact with him/them.
I see now on his Facebook page that he has hit "like" on most of the birthdaywishes he has received. Maybe he haven't seen my message. But it's allowed to hope, eh?

A lot.
You can count all his japanese signature models (scythe, sawtooth, arrowhead, pink sawtooth, katakana, blacky and greeny; that makes 7) then you can add his US models but I don't know how many he owns (maybe 4, one scythe, one yellow, one blacky and now one greeny?) plus some other ESPs here and there (like an SV STD NT in Looking Out My Back Door music video and what seems to be an ESP arrow in the most recent video from Soundi of him playing with Janne).
And I remember ESP giving him a new scythe and a new sawtooth a few years ago. But I don't think he has two of them as K-man told me gave some guitars to his friends.

Anyway, I'd say around 15 ESP models maybe (I don't know about other guitars, how would I?).

In the second interview with Alexi on Mobile Backstage, he gives a ballpark figure of 10 or 11 (at around 2:06)

It depends on if he's kept all he's had.

He still has (unless he's sold it) his green Jackson RR, the one that wasn't stolen (1), had the two original Scythe and Sawtooth models (3), then he got two new of those (5), then the arrowhead (6), the pink sawtooth (7), the blacky (8), the new green one (9), the fixed bridge grey one from the Lookin Out My Back Door video (10), then at least a white and a yellow american ESPs (12) and I don't know if the Strato type he was playing at the end of one COBTV videos was his or Roope's. And I'd say it's a safe bet he has at least one classic/acoustic guitar. But I guess when you have so many guitars it's hard to remember all of them.

1. Encased at a club in Finland(according to some Facebook pics I can't pull up right now)
2. I've never actually seen him play the black/yellow USA ESP. I think that was designed just as a signature market model.
3. It's Roope's(Stockholm Knockout extra's)

Also, didn't Alexi sell his Green stripe Jackson? I could have swore I saw a picture of somebody else playing it. I saw it here iirc.

I have no idea about the jackson, and the Strato type as I said could be Roope's, but Strato shape is too standard to straight up assume it's Roope's.

On the ESP Yellow american version...
