POWERBALL SPEAKER CONNECTION

Might not be the right forum but I know Chris uses ENGLs and hoping someone here can help.

The back of the amp has speaker connection for 4, 8, 16 ohm. Reading the manual (see number 42, http://www.engl-amps.com/manuals/e645-om.pdf), if I want to hook up two (2) 8 ohm cabinets I would use the 2nd 4 ohm jack and then daisy-chain them. Would that be correct?

Or do I plug a 8 ohm cab into each 4 ohm jack?

Thanks.

I had the same problem... I tried both connections in figure "43", but heard no real differance. I'm going to try plugging into figure "42" tonight. Running a Mesa 2x12 w/ Vintage 30's - ENGL Powerball...Caparison TAT. What pups are you running?

Forget the figure "42"; sounds best in the "43"...\m/
