There seems to be a Doom uprising at the moment.

A power metal band in Australia had their guitarist leave and now they have just turned themselves into a decent Doom band.

My band Lycanthia has been Doom influenced for a very long time and we have been gathering bigger audiences lately.

Be careful of what you label Doom though, we are not a traditional Doom band but Doom influenced and cop a lot of flack from those who want to own Doom to themselves and set strict guidelines on what is Doom, they even refer to bands like My Dying Bride as playing Nu-Doom.

Anyway feel free to give us a listen and let me know what you think, say hello on our forum, etc.
