Remember this song?

This thread is not dedicated to one particular song, but rather songs from way back when that were popular and you enjoyed (or perhaps one that bring about a sense of nostalgia).

This one is for Brian:

I have a song to share. Up until I was about 12, I was shamefully a total product of my environment and listened to nothing but shitty pop/r&b/rap crap. However, I saw them play this song on some award show and really enjoyed it. I then started listening to alternative/rock stations in hopes of hearing it and other stuff like it, so by the time I entered high-school I had been listening to "guitar-driven" music for a couple of years. Perhaps if I had never heard this song, and eventually Metallica, I never would have talked to and befriended Coy and none of us would know each other today. Who knows? But if nothing else, I guess I owe the Goo Goo Dolls for pulling me away from the musical cesspit of my youth.

Fun fact about Goo Goo Dolls. They were on Metal Blade.

Oh you guys.... Now it's time for songs that I loved during my childhood.

And Coy's favourite artist ever.

This was actually the first "rock" band I was into. Scott Stap's voice is hilarious(ly bad)

I still enjoy SOAD from time to time

This was my favorite song back in fifth or sixth grade.
