As for amps in the studio recording POE, I think it was a blend of a 6505 and a Rectifier, not totally sure as it was reamped by Jacob Hansen later on before the mix. The two first albums was recorded on my old savage 120.

Knowing Jacob Hansen's sound and what he seems to do on a lot of albums, I wouldn't be surprised if there's also some Marshall VS8100 in the mix.
