Ok, the first three are unseparable, they could all take the first place, and I only have one record per band, since I could otherwise have filled this list with Opeth and Brave Murder Day.

5: Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper.
6: The Project Hate MCMXCIX - In Hora Mortis Nostrae.
7: At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul.
8: Opeth - Still Life.
9: Ayreon - The Human Equation.
10: System of a Down - Toxicity.

I am missing so many amazing albums. In 2 days I'll probably re-read this and come up with a different list.

There are a lot of other great albums too but these maybe are the best. I can't tell which of these is the best or which is the worst...
