does anyone know where do the final military-like speeches come from and what do they say?

I spent hours listening to that song and I never found out. I think the speeches are taken from a movie but it could be top gun, red october or any other war movie...

i was rather thinking about some stuff taken from the '69 moon-landing....
but i can hear that it says "danger damage" more than once... ???

yeah it's the same two quotes repeated a few times each I hear stuff like "the enemy's seems to be established at close range" and the other is "*something* *something* damaged" I think but I don't know for sure.

well, no, that's the problem. i was racking my brain to remember - and if i had i wouldn't have mentioned it because it's supposed to be a riddle and i'm not to give it away - but too much alcohol that night completely erased it from my mind. which is probably a poetic way to even the score, since alcohol was also in all likelihood the only reason i was told in the first place.
