so we have 2 (two) songs from the new album, barring imaginary leaks. i do not really like the other one, but this one is good, if one doesn't count the stupidest lyrics ever. |

Have never been too much into DB before... may be liked a few live recordings (Poland, 90-s), but this is a whole different deal. Or was it late night madness?

now finally, after two days of looking for new music (and, thanks to rahvin, being admitted to endless entertainment with samael's new record) i have found what i was unknowingly looking for, ie a smart record. italian singer gianna nannini, possibly one of the two decent female rockers in the country and also a lesbian icon, recently released a concept album on the subject of a character depicted in dante's divine comedy. it is VERY good. edit - now listening to another song, la gelosia, and pasting the lyrics for the enjoyment of my compatriots. i have been laughing for half an hour on account of the sheer aggressiveness of the insults  they remind me of my friend livio and a song along the same lines he wrote ages ago... we wrote the lyrics together, but i'm sure we could never have come up with something like "razza di buco demente", which is more or less "some idiotic hole" as a very affectionate way of indicating a woman... lollers, really... Ho un fuoco nelle vene, una serpe nella pancia, un veleno nella gola… Creperai, troia schifosa. Io ti odio sai, ti odio, quel rossore sulle guance… la scintilla che hai negli occhi… io ti odio! That's the only thing I like from Acid Bath. And mind you, it's a brilliant murder ballad.
