Most interesting indeed...No idea what this is, but it's possible that the upcoming "Projector" and "Haven" reissues are part of a box set. If so, it's pretty cool. Will investigate when we're in Japan in a few days. :-)

Not available for a couple of days (Jan.9)
It's probably not even a boxset, it is probably just the individual CDs being sold together and being advertised as a boxset.

funny thing that an item of your band is being released and you don't know about it .

I guess that happens a lot, but shouldn't the label tell the band itself what items their going to release?

@ Mudkip (aka Jolty): Yeah I thought the same, yet Haven and Projector are going to be re-released, so well i guess there's a chance that they're going to re-release everything.

Rule #1 of the music biz: The band members are always the last people on earth to get to know about things.

Had a Japanese friend look at the weird characters at http://www.toysfactory.co.jp/hard/index2.html and it seems like it's not a box set as such but just the individual albums re-issued. That said, I guess it's not impossible that there actually is a limited edition box set as well, but it's not mentioned on the label website. The Toy's factory stuff always looks great, so I'm kind of hoping that this is the case...

I wrote the seller and asked if its an official box set and please send a photo of it. The description reads that they are mini LP's and jewel cases, so which is it? No reply?
I see the 2 sets available have been purchased, I'm going to buy a set if/when it appears again.
I have several Japanese box sets(mini LP's) of different groups and these can be pricey
So $135 + 35 postage is actually a bargain.

Quite expensive, but I'll have to check it out... .
An official Japanese mini LP will cost at least $35, probably more and don't forget postage which will be about $10 per disc
There many who say they are selling Japanese CDs w/OBI but buyer beware as many bootleg/unofficial discs come out of China.

^ Ah ok thanks for the info .

Hehe so it's good that I didn't buy one Jap. Fiction cd from a guy from China.

Which buyers should I be careful with?

I say be careful with "wwpins" and "rasofocs," they have great items but the digis that they sell are Scarecrow version, which is from Mexico. The audio is the same but the printing quality is certainly a lot worse.

^ Finally heard from the seller of this 5 box set, the CDs are in jewel cases(had both mini LP's and jewel CD cases in the auction description) so I'm going to pass as I collect the mini LP's, I already have everything DT released on CD in jewel cases.
How can You tell if things are official? I always look for the sellers location if its China, Russia then I would have my doubts about things.
On a personal note, I really do not have a problem with bootlegs. Its my collecting mania that makes me say that
The seller of the box sets has re posted them, raised the price by $5 ... business is business
It ain't no thing but if You LMK Your eBay ID, I'd never bid against You -

i need your opinion on this...i just won myself a copy of "trail of life decayed" here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=013

my competitor was a tough one, he set his maximum bid at EUR 53.11, i got to win for 54.11...given the immense value the object had to me (i own none of DT rarities) i was still overjoyed...but my mood had a sudden change when i bumped into this:

http://www.blackmetal.co.uk/ForumsPr...c/t=16402.html

have i been cheated? can the tape i just purchased be a fake? i feel stupid to say it, but i was so happy that i immediately wanted to close the transaction...so the payment was already done when i read those posts...the fact the guy didn't even reply to the accusations just seems to confirm them...yet the seller's feedback seemed (still seems) encouraging...

what do you say?

I bet it's official.. I bought the 5 cds on hmv.co.jp.. and saved a lot of money too..

95 euros for 5 reissued cds + character japanese + shipping to italy..
on ebay I would have spent something like 114 euros without character
