STEEL PROPHET Drummer Joins NEIL TURBIN'S DEATHRIDERS - June 27, 2005 Progressive power metal drummer extroadinaire Gene McEwen (STEEL PROPHET) has joined forces with NEIL TURBIN'S DEATHRIDERS (featuring original ANTHRAX singer Neil Turbin) and will make his debut with the band at the Thrash Against Cancer benefit on July 9 at The Pound SF outdoor amphitheatre in San Francisco, California. "We welcome Gene as a permanent Deathrider and his unstoppable drumming skills will bring metal thrashing fury to the masses," the band write in a statement. "Special thanks to our bro Mikey Niel (CAGE) for helping us out with the Mexico tourdates."
