DEATHRIDERS/Ex-ANTHRAX Singer Interviewed At NAMM; Video Available - Feb. 19, 2009 Robert Williams of Metal-Rules.com conducted an interview with former ANTHRAX and current DEATHRIDERS vocalist Neil Turbin at this year’s NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. DEATHRIDERS last year posted a rough-mix version of a new song, “Riders Of The Apocalypse”, on the group’s MySpace page. The track comes off DEATHRIDERS‘ forthcoming album, “Back With A Vengeance”, which is being recorded and mixed by Ken Orth at Alpine Sound in Mesa, Arizona.
DEATHRIDERS has already performed “Riders Of The Apocalypse” live at festivals and concerts in Europe, Japan and the U.S. The track features the kick-ass guitars of Sweden’s Jonas Hornqvist of the band TREASURE LAND in collaboration with DEATHRIDERS guitarists Dave Watson and Mike Guerrero.

Robert Williams of Metal-Rules.comrecently conducted a video interview with metal vocalist Neil Turbin (DEATHRIDERS, ex-ANTHRAX) at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Check it out at this location. As previously reported, Deathriders will be performing at Rocktower Festival Lübeck Tower in Lübeck, Germany on April 11th. The band will perform a special set at Rocktower Festival to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the groundbreaking thrash metal album Fistful Of Metal. Deathriders will also perform at the Rocktower Festival pre-party warm-up show at Sounds Club Lübeck, Germany on April 10th.
According to a statement, “Neil and the rest of Deathriders would like to wish Raven’s Mark Gallagher a successful surgery and a very speedy recovery and hope to play with his old buddies Mark, John and Raven soon in the near future. NWOBHM Rules!!!!”
