DENDURA'S FAVORITE FEMALE FRONTED BANDS
I wanted to list other female fronted bands that we really like and that YOU really like so go ahead and list away! I am not done with this list and will mention more bands soon.
DENDURA FAVS AND WHY: Epica - awesome dark themed symphonic, movie scoring metal music with angelic vocals After Forever - Floor is one of the best singers of our time and the music has a symphonic sound. Clean vocals, great range, and can sustain notes longer than anyone I've heard before. Amanda Somverville - another incedible singer with an enchanting and beautiful tone Evanescence - love Amy Lee's voice.. period, not my fav in the music but love her voice Within Temptation - one of the richest purest singers in metal, Sharon just has vocal beauty To-Mera - who the heck sounds like To-Mera? No one!!! Tom is a bad ass guitarist, from the keys to the vocals, this band has incredible top notch players. Dream Theater hand picked them to open for them this summer. Raygun Girls - These are our label mates and they have a unqiue sound compared to others out there. Great vocal tone, w/ a combination of hard rock mixed with industrial music! ![]()

female fronted bands
YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent EVER heard anyone who could out sing Floor.. I dont like comparing OR putting a competition on singers but to my ears, and being a singer, hands down, Floor in my book, is simply amazing and one if not the best I've heard! Much respect to that woman and she's also a voice coach. If I ever make it to the Netherlands, I'm gonna take lessons from her. The things I would learn!!!

Here is me (Aziza) with some of these singers!
![]() with Maria Brink of IN THIS MOMENT (very, very, very sweet), May 2007, Grand Rapids, MI - The Intersection ![]() with Amanda Somerville. What a surprise, we opened for EDGUY and LIGHT THIS CITY and Amanda was there supporting Edguy and visiting her hometown Flint. I was surprised and she was extremely nice as well. Very conversational. We talked about singing for about 10 minutes. I was pretty giddy over this one as you can see in my face. ![]() with Francine Boucher of Echoes of Eternity. Francine had everyone in the world asking for a picture. She was very nice as well. My guitar player Steve got his pic with her too and his face is priceless here. ![]()

We love Amanda Somerville! We didn't realize you were acquainted but it only makes sense ... You're looking hot, hot, hot as usual, Aziza! Thanks for inviting us ... -Chris @ The Metal Show
