Strands of Fascia

Easily the best song on the record and if I think about it, probably the best song to come out of 2007--or pretty damn close.

I love it, just saying.

Thanks Paul, we're glad to hear any feedback on any of these songs, and we appreciate your taking the time to tell us so!

There's a section in this instructional video piece I did with EMG TV, where I demonstrate the use of the EMG 89 pickup, which uses a split coil function, to switch between humbucker and single coil, as I did to record the middle section of the tune. Check it out!

Anyone else have any favorite songs from the album?

I checked out that video. It is definitely a cool riff. The closest I got tonally was through using the both pickups on my hellraiser and with the volume turned a bit down on both, but with the bridge turned down a tad more. It is still not as close as that. Besides, you are using a different setup, I'm using my guitar through and old, borrowed POD and straight to my headphones. Emg 89s are cool too. I wonder if they have a seven string version of those.

I am currently working on the Afterlife tapping intro and on the diminished runs.

My favourite song would probably have to be 'Learning to Swim'.
Really awesome playing by both Steve's.
