downtuning Recreation Day
I just watched the Night to Remember DVD lastnight and loved it. I was wondering why they droptune their song Recreation Day. I think its a whole step down but I kinda like it more the way it is on the studio album. I figured it might have had something to do with meeting the range of the choir singing but they are excellenct singers and I'm sure they have that kinda range.
I love Evergrey though.....great stuff indeed! |

It's easier to sing within your natural range. Putting in the effort for an album is one thing, but playing live night after night requires you to find ways to save your voice and it also lessens the chance of stuffing up those notes one finds difficult to hit.
