August 2006 Issue of Guitar World

I would like to say HOLY SHIT! Tom and Henrik are in the "Betcha Can't Play This" column.

Since I'm short on time right now, in a nutshell:

The licks are based on the solos from the song Monday Morning Apocalypse. Henk and Tom explain the modes and technique they use to play the solos. The article has them tabbed out, too. And if you have the cd-rom that came with the magazine, you can watch Tom and Henrik show you how to play it.

They could have picked harder solos.

Nice, thanks!

And yes they could have!!! That's like nothing compared to what other people do... they weren't supposed to pick solos from an actual song, they were supposed to just shred. Ah well, they're awesome solos in general, though I don't like the embellishments they added. They take away from the solos.

did this happen to include tabs as well? Their fretboards make it difficult to see the string/fret clearly - also are they in c or d, yeesh.

What band was on the cover of this issue? Is there any chance of getting a copy of the tabs from someone? (PM me if possible)
Cheers
