Faith Restored Ripp OFF

Hi Guys!

I want you to check something out, it is the EG song Faith Restored.

There is a swedish girl called Agnes Carlsson , she had a hit called
Release me, check it out on youtube , at this moment Nr1 on the UK chart and 3rd in US.It sound like bigger parts is taken from the chorus on "Faith Restored"In fact the guy who wrote the song to her is a metalhead, maybe even a EG fan.Please listen to both songs and comment on this thread.

Please come back with feedback , since I know this of big interest for the band.

Hmmm, if you didn't point out it was "faith restored" I wouldn't have an idea which Evergrey song you might have talked about. If you look at it from a logic point of view, in western music you got 12 notes to combine in different patterns and rhythms. It's inevitable that you got a lot of stuff repeating. Best example for that are Nickelback

My dad wrote that song for Agnes Carlsson and i know he's not a metalhead and he had never heard that song!

I can understand what's similar but i don't think it's a ripoff. In fact, it can't be.

I don't think it sounds similar enough to have been stolen. It's definitely just coincidence!
