Anyway, had a great time with these files (thank you!)

Gave it a quick try and came up with this

"My first reamp EVER (so i was kinda unsure about the levels/routings but it sounds fine for now), just used the exact settings i always use at home with my own guitar, hope you guys like it (i do):

Engl SE 6L6 -> Torpedo VB-101 (Engl 412 Vintage Cab with V30's / very low speaker excursion / Blue DragonFly condenser mic dead on but a couple of inches back / Post-fx : lo-cut @103hz, EQ (Low 0; Lo-mids +2; Mid +3; Hi-mids +1; High -1), Exciter 3% @3 Khz) -> RME Fireface UC -> Reaper with just some slight EQ on guitars (HP@80hz, slight bite boost@5khz, LP@12khz), no mastering fx on the master bus :

As pointed by mago and other people, maybe lacking in gain and meat a bit, and bit too hi-mid heavy.

not the sickest tone i've ever heard but a very decent tone still, proof that a quality source material (great DI/backing track) and a reamping done by somebody who knows his shit can yield good results

we should do a "ghetto gear guitar tone competition" someday

, where only reamping through 10 w solid state park practice amps is allowed or something

Hehe, yeah I actually don't like the sound I got there but I think most of the crappyness comes from the bad amp/speaker

And yeah, a ghetto gear tone competion would be cool

this is kind of very agressive/shrill-sounding (in a bad way), sounds very filtered

you might wanna A/B this with a pro mix and rework your tone (the balance mainly)
