Eluveitie Steals the Show for Pagan Fest
I've been hearing this over and over again from folks as this tour hits spots all over the country. It was certainly true (IMO) for the tour stop at Jaxx last Monday.
I don't have the photos from the show off my camera yet, but I'll try to post those tonight. I had listened a little to Eluveitie before seeing them live, but their live performance was totally what did it in for me. Maybe I'm just impressed by bands with lots of members contributing to the band, particularly in a live setting, and with lots of unique instruments (Eluveitie, Unexpect, Stolen Babies etc.). Anyway, here's a few other threads on UM that sparked the idea for this thread over here on the FotV forum. Mostly I've seen good reviews of Eluveitie's set: Pagan Fest discussion on Heathen Crusade forum Pagan Fest discussion on ProgPower USA forum Pagan Fest discussion on Chicago PowerFest USA forum Discuss.
