Female Death Metal!

So I was playing Rock Band 2 and this song came up called Visions by Abnormality, It's frickin' hard! but non the less I gold stared it on expert, and So I look into it cause well I like Death Metal, and I find out the singer for Abnormality is a FEMALE! She kills this stuff it's amazing!

Pretty interesting stuff.

I'm not typically one for death metal, so it's hard for me to make a judgment call on bands like this when it comes to how good they are or how well liked they will be by the FotV audience.

Holy Moses (http://www.myspace.com/holymosesgermany) is one of the few death metal bands out their with a female vocalist that I can appreciate.

I'd love to hear some others' thoughts on this band .. or for that matter any other death and black metal bands out there with female vocalists.

It's crap.

I can only take black metal and death metal in very, very small doses. (Make that extremely small.) Such genres lack everything I enjoy about music. Frankly, I'd be hard pressed to call it music.

Thankfully, bands like this will always remain obscure -- unless, of course, they change their style.

And learn to play their instruments.

And take singing lessons.

And discover creativity, and imagination.

And nuance.
