Favorite Epic songs?
What are your favorite Epic songs??
By "Epic" I mean songs that are longer than 5:00 i guess, and that have that "Epic" feel to them and are awe-inspiring. Also try to describe the parts of the song that make you go

5:00? That's it? I don't consider something an epic until it reached the 7-min. mark, though there are exceptions.
Wintersun - Sadness & Hate
Blind Guardian - And Then There Was Silence
Opeth - The Moor
Symphony X - The Odyssey
Dream Theater - Stream of Consciousness
Rhapsody - Sacred Power of Raging Winds
Sonata Arctica - The Power of One
Just the ones I got off the top of my head. There are plenty more.

Iron Maiden - Paschendale. It is actually a masterpiece, and I call hardly anything that.

Ah yes, I forgot a very important one.
Bathory - One Rode To Asa Bay
As soon as I heard this song, Bathory shot up to the top of my viking metal list.

Pretty much anything by Summoning is epic, even the two-minute intro on "Oath Bound".
