Quoted for truth. It's probably the only thing I like about the album.

No, Euronymous riffs is obviously THE thing about the album.

You shouldn't let the vocals get in the way of enjoying one of THE top albums for black metal guitarists such as yourself to worship. You'll get used to the vocals.

The vocals is the only thing he listens to, it seems.

^Not true, if the riffs or the foundation of the music isn't good, what's the purpose of listening? Riffs, but vocals can enhance the music.

that album has nothing to do with black metal..... it should be classified into grindcore/death
Umm no? I'd say blackened death.

Black/Death/Grind, but I file it under Black Metal. What impressed me the most about this release was the vocals, the most dynamic VITRIOL has been. He does inhuman screams, growls, clean singing, and even brutal death gurgles with a hint of "scree".

.

This album is often called generic by second wave purists, but I have yet to find an album with riffs that hypnotize in the unique way that this one does.

And Attila's vocals enhance the experience immensely, don't judge them too quickly.
