somebody er other was talking about Skogyr on his blog, so I decided to give 'em a listen to and was pleasantly surprised. definitely one of the better recent black metal releases I've stumbled across.
I ordered the cd today and should be getting it in a couple of weeks. I'm aroused

I haven't listened to the newest album yet, as I'm holding out to see if a vinyl version will be pressed. However, the previous album Tetragrammatical Astygmata is a great album.

Yes, a vinyl version would be great. Last one was a good release, and Homecoming March is pure evil

The new Averse Sefira is pretty kickass. I haven't heard their back catalogue to give you a comparison though.

unknown: I'm loving this band (Skogyr). It may lack my beloved black metal shrieks but the music's to good to really give a shit.

I think it is a given that the new Celestia is really, fucking good. I mean super good. One of the best black metal albums ever, IMO. I can not get over how good this is. Are there any other albums that Celestia has done that are this good?
Also, Peste Noire's first album is about to go for $97 on ebay, Aquarius Records has it for $14 at their store. That is insane.
