From the sound of the samples, I very much doubt that Destruction's Thrash Anthems will capture the excitement or character of their early material. The production is beefy as hell, yes. But is it the Destruction we know and love? I won't be buying it.

Neither will I. I think doing a whole album of re-recordings is pretty stupid. When they do a song or two as bonus tracks it's kind of cool, but a whole album? Just write some new shit!
