Old school death metal

Hey guys,

I`m searching for good old school death bands in the vein of early Autopsy and Asphyx. You know, not too fast, not too technical...can be actual bands or old bands. Let me know.

Kills, Andy

Yeah, this should be in the recommendation thread, but it's hardly a big deal. Check out these albums for a start.

Grave - Into the Grave
Miasma - Changes
Bolt Thrower - War Master
Cancer - To the Gory End
Amorphis - The Karelian Isthmus
Belial - Gods of the Pit/Wisdom of Darkness
Gutted - Blood For Us to Live
Imprecation - Theurgia Goetia Summa
Fleshcrawl - Descend into the Absurd

Disincarnate - Dreams Of The Carrion Kind

Might not be exactly what you're looking for but it's excellent old school death metal. Give it a try.

I always forget about this and it's one of the better US DM albums. Monstrosity 'imperial doom' also rules.

Greys and Malignance basically have you hooked up. Listen to those bands.

Those lists basically contain everything I know about old school death anyway

Fucking YES FTMFW. If BM and slam death can have their own threads, this also can, I suppose. And now Greys can't shit in the slam thread.

Molested, Demilich, Infester (as mentioned), Traumatic Voyage, Carnage, etc. Those are some of my favorites! Brutality are amazing old-school tech death, too...as are Nocturnus.
