I need to pick up some Akercocke. What should I start with?

It's not as varied as Demigod, but it's still a grand album nonetheless, and you can take comfort knowing that Nergal didn't layer his vocals over 9000 times.
Also, Inner Sanctum stars Warrel Dane from Nevermore, if you're interested.
Thoughts on the new Behemoth album (The Apostasy)? I've only given it one listen so far but it seems a little lighter than their other stuff.
The Apostasy rocks the house, but I think Demigod was written better. The drums on Apostasy kick ass, as usual.

The new Behemoth definitely sounds quite watered down. It's hardly death metal. I like Zos Kia Cultus and Themla666 best out of their death metal albums.
Amazing Melodic Death Metal band from down here in oz called Be'lakor.
Tons of links to reviews for their debut on their myspace, www.myspace.com/belakor they have been very favourable so far. Will appeal to any soilwork or dark tranquility fans, with appeal extending to fans of the likes of Opeth and Agalloch.
Handicam video.
