I haven't heard that one yet...the man honestly releases an album a week, so it's hard to find a lot of his stuff. Your best bet to start off with is Tauromachine because it is the most accessible (or however accessible noise can be) seeing as how some/most of the tracks have a discernible rhythm.

Just listened to Slayer's Dead Skin Mask and Maiden's 2 Minutes to Midnight. Awesome songs.

For non metal, I'm loving Frank Zappa. The man was a genius. There is not one bad album in his catalogue.

Yeah it was one of the first metal albums I bought...totally awesome album. The riffs are definitely Slayerized.

Thresholds is pretty good as well but it's not as thrashy as it's processor, instead focusing on more harmony and technicality.
