I own all three of those Immortal albums mentioned, and all are excellent. How's the rest of their discography?

Their new album is better than anything else they've done judging by their myspace tracks, but I don't like it enough to go buy it. Too generic sounding.

"Pure Holocaust" or "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism".
That is, assuming you were talking about Immortal.

Not bad, but repetitive.
Best Immortal album would have to Pure Holocaust. At the Heart of Winter is a close second, but fails because of overtly long song lengths.

Well in that case I'll have no trepidation in completing their discography.
On a thrashy note, Pleasure to Kill is owning my soul at the moment.

I'm surprised you haven't already delved into their discography.
You should also get more into Gorgoroth's back catalogue.

heard through the eyes of the dead today, they were ok.
suffocation - pierced from within is owning my soul.
that along with satyricon - dark medieval times
also listening to parkway drive, cannibal corpse.

I've been jamming to Coroner's "Mental Vortex" a lot lately. I really need to get more familiar with their old stuff ASAP. I've heard "Grin" before & it was pretty clever. I need to get that one too.
