Their new album is better than anything else they've done judging by their myspace tracks, but I don't like it enough to go buy it. Too generic sounding.

I didn't like Immortal's Pure Holocaust, Sons of the Northern Darkness is way better.

Not bad, but repetitive.
Best Immortal album would have to Pure Holocaust. At the Heart of Winter is a close second, but fails because of overtly long song lengths.
