I've been rediscovering the joy of Entombed's Clandestine the last couple of days. Fucking awesome album.

Definate band to check out are Cinders Fall. Just got their EP "The Bridge Between" and its really amazing. They are british and still on the Underground. Just signed to Anticulture (which is how I found them - massive fan of Malefice).
Also, check out Machinemade God. They are on Metal Blade but not very well known yet. Think they are quite new to the label. Album "Masked" is great!

I'm a fan also, but they're vastly overrated imo.

I'm barely two songs into Nord by Setherial and I'm simply blown away by this album. Can't go wrong when you cross In the Nightside Eclipse with Far Away From the Sun.

You need to listen to Avsolutized. They are highly influenced by them. I have never heard Setherial so I can not make a judgment on who is better but I will say that Avsolutized- Den Svarta Vandans Genealogi is one of the best this year, without a doubt.
