Today i bought the album
My Dying Bride - a line of deathless kings
this having never heard the band before and only remembering them from them being mentioned on her a bit and seen in people's signatures.
this is like nothing ive ever heard
doom metal fucking rocks, i cant believe i never found it before
i really love his voice.
any other bands like this?

I wish Dark Tribe would make their album able to be purchased. I would buy it, and lots of other people would too. They could have sold at least four times as many copies had they merely made their shit available. There's not much excuse these days for a band to not print at least 1000+ copies of their releases. If you sell out, re-press. It's to the advantage of the band, the label, and the fans, I can't fathom why rereleases don't happen with some bands. I generally won't bother with bands that are trying so hard to be kvlt.

I've been listening to Unquestionable Presence over and over again for a few weeks, and I haven't even gotten bored of it at all. Very catchy for something so technical. No boring wankery. It's pretty much a perfect album in my eyes.

You might old Katatonia. Also, if your new to doom metal than I suggest you check out Stoner Doom bands like Electric Wizard and Sleep. |

Anyone like Dark Suns (Ger)? Listening to the tracks on their myspace and they are pretty good. Proggy and sort of jazzy at some points but it's pretty good music.
