Not really. It's not half the "return to form" it has been lauded as i.m.o. Some of the songwriting is undeniably great (Corpsecycle, North Berwick Witch Trials), but there is far too much filler on there. Of their latter output, VIIth coming was a much rounder, more completed album.

Speaking of Cathedral. FoE is their best imo, but my favourite song is probably Autumn Twilight, catchy as hell. :>
