I guess it's the fate of many a good band.

Chris needs to get Matts back and bring the growls back, hopefully he will find some good musicians to bring the band back to life once more. In the meantime I hope Kristian starts a cool band, and writes albums like Lemuria and Sirius B type stuff. Funny how some people think Therion are gothic because their latest album is called Gothic Kabbalah.
With Therion you have to have a open mind like with for example Sigh, each album is different they progress better or for worse that is a personal decision.

I like the new Therion more than the new Sigh album.

No, it sounds like a mix of Lemuria/Sirius B and Secret of the Runes. You'd like it, it's badass.

Not goth, but still not good. IMO both Therion and Atrocity; only their death metal work is great.

I haven't listened to any of Therion's "sell-out" albums other than Theli. I thought it was pretty underwhelming, but not so bad. I'm interested in hearing Lemuria. Gonna get it in my next haul.

I've got the double disc edition of Sirius B/Lemuria - seriously need to get rid of that (if I've not already lost it.)
